More Than Just Teachers: Celebrating the Hearts and Minds That Shape Us

National Teachers Month is a time to celebrate the amazing people who make a difference in our lives every single day. They're not just teaching subjects; they're building confidence, inspiring dreams, and helping us discover who we are.

Think about your favorite teacher. The one who made learning fun, who believed in you even when you doubted yourself. They were more than just a teacher; they were a mentor, a friend, a guide.

This month, let's show our teachers how much we appreciate them. Let's share stories about the teachers who made a difference in our lives, and let's encourage others to do the same. Let's make this National Teachers Month a celebration of the human connection that makes teaching so special.

Because, at the end of the day, it's not just about the curriculum; it's about the hearts and minds that teachers touch, and the future they help shape.

OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

MALACANANG PALACE MANILA, PHILIPPINES

Dear Mr.

I am writing to to express my gratitude to our beloved country. However, I am concerned about the "Matatag" curriculum's impact on students. The curriculum's rigours demands are causing stress and mental health issues that can ruin their well-being and academic progress.

I humbly request your reconsideration of the "Matatag" curriculum and encourage exploring alternative approaches that prioritize students holistic development.

I believe that with your leadership, the Philippines will continue to progress towards a brighter future. Thank you for all your sacrifices towards to our country and to all the handworks you have done, may the lord always bless you.

                                                                                                                                                     Sincerly Yours Truly
                                                                                                                                          POLARIS PASTOR RAPIN

BATTLES AGAINTS NATURE FURY

https://cdia.asia/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/Drrm2-copy-1024x682.jpg
The Philippines, a beautiful island nation,  faces a constant battle againts nature fury. typhoons, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions are harsh reality, leaving communities shattered and struggling to rebuild. its a tough fight, made even harder by poverty and rapid urbanization that leave many vulnerable.

The government is trying its best, with programs to prepare for disasters and help people recover. They are building stronger infracture, improving early warning systems, and working with communities to create a stronger safety net. But it's not easy. Funding is scarce, and many people still don't fully understand the risks they face.

To truly build resilience, the Philippines needs to tackle the root causes of vulnerability. Poverty and inequality leave people more exposed to disasters. We need to address these issues head-on, alongside investing in infrastructure and raising awareness. Only then can we create a future where communities are strong enough to weather any storm.

P.O.V.

I hail from the charming town of Bahet San Ildefonso in Ilocos Sur, a place that holds a special place in my heart. At 15 years old, I'm still discovering who I am, but one thing's for sure: my natural curls and dimpled smile are a constant reminder of the joy I find in life. I'm drawn to music, both singing and listening, and find solace in its melodies. While I may be introverted, my true self shines through when I'm with close friends, where I become a chatterbox and a confidante.

My observant nature allows me to see the world with a unique perspective, and I often find myself offering advice to those around me. I'm the friend who's always there to lend an ear and a shoulder to lean on, especially when life gets overwhelming. My independence and diligence are qualities I've cultivated since childhood, shaped by the experiences of growing up with my parents working abroad. My mother left for Dubai eight years ago, while my father went to Manila to find better opportunities. I have two siblings, and my sister is the one who is taking care of me today along with my grandma on my father's side. My older brother is currently working in Baguio City.

Despite the challenges, I've learned to be resilient and resourceful, finding strength in my own company and in the love of my family. I'm a work in progress, constantly evolving and learning, but I embrace every step of the journey. My heart is filled with warmth, my spirit is bright, and I'm excited to see what the future holds.
