A New Year, A New Beginning

This New Year, I'm embracing a "new me" – a better, wiser version of myself. It's a journey of self-improvement, focusing on mindful actions and thoughtful words. I'll strive to think before I speak, ensuring my communication is kind and considerate. This year, I'm prioritizing my emotional well-being, learning to recognize and protect myself from negativity.

Letting go of toxic relationships is a decisive part of this transformation. I'm releasing the weight of those who don't appreciate my kindness, those who consistently treat me poorly. This isn't about anger or resentment, but about self-respect and prioritizing healthy relationships. I'm choosing to surround myself with people who lift me up and value my presence.

Despite the challenges and the difficult decisions, my core values remain unchanged. I will continue to be a loving and kind person, extending compassion to those who deserve it. This "new me" isn't about becoming someone else, but about becoming the best version of myself – stronger, wiser, and more resilient. This is my commitment to myself, and my promise for a brighter year ahead.

JOURNEY BEGAN WITH A WHISPER - a prophecy

The Christmas journey was end at the church, with its stained-glass windows aglow with the warm light of candles. The hymns filled the air, and the scent of incense made the atmosphere serene and spiritual. We joined the congregation; our voices merged with the others in joyful carols, our hearts full of gratitude for the blessings of the season. It was a time for reflection, the time to understand the real essence of Christmas: love, peace, and being together.

It was after the church service that Christmas really started. Laughter, good food, and warm conversations filled the air. We exchanged gifts, each a symbol of love and affection. The joy was palpable, contagious energy that spread through the room, binding us together in a shared experience of happiness and contentment. It was a Christmas filled with warmth, love, and the simple pleasure of being together.

The end of the day closed in on us, as well as the final Christmas carol melted into night, and then an atmosphere of serenity rested on us. The journey-from packing and taking off in our car to attending church service to celebrate the festivity-had all been lovely and meaningful. Indeed it was Christmas one to cherish where family, faith, and indeed the season have more meaning to carry along in any life. For the memories there created, treasures would come; a warm light which would melt many a winter nights.
